Hypertufa Planter Workshop

​

Make a one-of-a-kind planter for your home or garden!

 

Bring your own mold to create your very own unique weatherproof garden planter. Using a mixture of Portland cement, peat moss, perlite and vermiculite, Chris Hopp of Farmbrook Designs — maker of hypertufa planters, lanterns and fountains — will guide you through the fabrication process and provide tips for finishing your creation at home. All ingredients supplied.

 

$40 to make one planter.

Bird and Bug Box Workshop

​

Design your own unique natural work of art to enjoy inside to share with the wildlife outdoors.

 

Learn how you can help our native birds and bugs by providing critical habitat and make your very own unique Bird and Bug Box — suitable for indoor or outdoor display — using foraged materials, including locally-sourced birch limbs, seedpods from native tree species and organic nesting materials.

 

$25 to make one box.
